Generally speaking, we don’t really love the default WordPress comments. There are a lot of reasons to use the default WordPress comments, but we can’t really figure out what they are! Instead, we prefer using something a little more sociable, like Facebook comments.
When you get a visitor to your website, you want to make it as easy as possible for them to share your super valuable content. You also don’t want a ton of spambots filling up your comments section. Both of which are hard to do with the default WordPress comments. Ok, let’s get on with it already!

We just want to remove the WordPress commenting from the individual post pages (because we’re going to build the other pages without comments). Click on the radio input next to the On Certain post types label and check the box next to Posts. Once you click the blue Save Changes button, you will disable WordPress commenting on all of the selected post types on your site.
All done!! The default WordPress comments have been removed from all WordPress posts. In the next step, we’ll show you how to add the Unsplash WP plugin to your blog.
